Three solo exhibitions. Espace A VENDRE invites three artists for three solo show: Raphaël Denis, "Endless Collapse" - Caroline Bach, "L'Usine" - Eva Medin, "Solstice".
In the gallery, Raphaël Denis offers us his first solo exhibition in Nice. In Endless Collapse, the artist proposes to play with the forms ("turning around" of the polyhedron of Dürer) of History (evoking the spoliation and destruction of cultural property) and especially materials (staging concrete bunkers Or building blocks).
The showroom opens at L'Usine, named after Caroline Bach's exhibition. The factory is that of Bata, recognizable by its red bricks. The factory, these are the buildings around which the working city of Bataville is articulated. The factory is certainly a place of work and innovation ... but it is also a place of life, meetings. The factory is today where the world is dreaming tomorrow, deployed on more collaborative models.
In the exhibition Solstice, the young artist Eva Medin will finally unfold an unusual scenography in the Castle. The work is a forest, built from a harvest of fir trees. It plays on the fragility and expressiveness of "dead" pines, thrown after the festivals, and on the ambiguity of these objects. Halfway between fairy tales, christmas nativity scene, and horror film, it puts into play and offset various echoing the collective imagination.
