Description:

A triumphal marriage between England and France for a moving and festive Henry V parachuted in the first world war. The young British company Antic Disposition, awarded for its Shakespearean productions, set the plot in 1915. At a dispensary, soldiers decided to help patients by performing a show. In a powerful staging, French and English actors share the stage. The complex relations between the two nations have no secrets for Shakespeare who, once again, reveals his genius to sound the human soul. The cruel destiny of man in the face of war resounds as never before in the hearts of today.
