Lecture by Jean-François Chevrier: "Biographical forms and individual mythologies"
Art historian and curator of exhibitions, Jean-François Chevrier has been teaching at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris since 1988. Author of numerous essays on the encounters between art and literature, modern art (including photography) ), public space and architecture, he also accompanied the work of very diverse artists. L'Éditions L'Arachnéen published between 2010 and 2015 seven volumes of his writings, including L'Hallucination artistique. From William Blake to Sigmar Polke (2012). His most recent exhibitions are "Biographical forms" (Reina Sofía Museum, Madrid and Carré d'art, Nimes, 2014-2015) and "Acting, contemplating" (Unterlinden Museum, Colmar, 2016).
