The exhibition goes through this strong link between Nice and the jazz that led in 1917, in the various palaces, cabarets and emerging clubs, the American musicians to integrate, thanks to their music, to the cultural life of Nice.
Over time, the biggest names of jazz marched on the stages of our city while in 1976, the jazz class of the Nice Conservatory federates and forms the famous jazz nursery of Nice, and the "Jazz des trois" seasons "moved to the Grappelli Hall in 1982.
This is how the greatest international jazzmen such as Miles Davis, Lionel Hampton and Dizzy Gillespie regularly return to Nice while a generation of Nice jazzmen such as Barney Wilen and André Ceccarelli, is exported all over the world.
