Getting around Nice

With a concern for environmental conservation and a quality lifestyle, non-polluting transport methods have been favoured.

After the inauguration of the first tramway line in November 2007 and the launching of the Vélos Bleus in July 2009, Nice Côte d'Azur will be the first French local  authority to put into use on a large scale from April 2011 the "Auto Partage" system, using exclusively electric cars.

On the Nice Côte d'Azur territory, 210 electric vehicles will be available at 70 stations.
