Historic Factory :
Visits to this historic factory thread their way through the perfumer’s laboratory, with its perfume organ, the distillery, the maceration and filtering studios, the enfleurage rooms, and the artisanal packaging and soapmaking workshops. The museum's collection features bottles and perfume memorabilia from ancient times and all the way up to the present day. Clay perfume flasks, khol vases, scent holders, salve jars, pomanders, bergamotes, and travel kits trace 3,000 years of history.
The Flower Factory includes the packaging center, the company’s biggest soapmaking plant, and the manufaturing laboratory, which uses modern processes like chromatography. Visitors follow along as raw materials are extracted and processed with various methods. Beginning of the spring, visits to the factory come to a close in the flower garden, replete with plants like rose de mai, lavender, broom, syringa, and honeysuckle. These provide essences for Grasse-style perfumery.
L’usine laboratoire d’Eze-village:
Sitting in a picturesque setting between Nice and Monaco, at the foot of rocks and poised above the sea, this modern design perfume factory is an interesting contrast to its location in the charming medieval village of Eze. The laboratory uses modern technology to supply all of Fragonard's creams, lotions, and bath gels. The entire manufacturing process is displayed for these cosmetics and beauty products. Visitors might even help make a cream or bath gel.
