The streets of Nice offer many green areas, little known to tourists, with some 300 hectares of parks and gardens creating unusual oneiric landscapes. The city's mild climate made it possible to acclimate many plant species from all over the world. The resulting palette of shapes and colours inspired many enthusiastic botanists and gardeners.
