A feast for the eyes and all the senses, the markets of Nice offer fresh products often grown locally.
Cours Saleya is one of the liveliest spots in Old Nice. Although it is a 'must' for tourists, it is also where the local population likes to gather. The Flower Market is here there every day except Monday. Plants and flowers, often from greenhouses in the hills of Nice, fill the air with their subtle fragrances with mimosa prevailing in winter.
The fruit and vegetable market was selected by the National Council of Culinary Arts as one of the most exceptional markets in France. The Antiques Market is held there on Mondays. From June to September, Cours Saleya hosts an arts and crafts market in the evening.
