The museum has been set up in the former residence of perfume creator François COTY, the Château Sainte Hélène, surrounded by a large park with rare species.
Inaugurated in 1982 in the perfumer François Coty’s former home, this museum owes its existence to a major donation by Anatole and Renée Jakovsky: 600 paintings, drawings, prints and sculptures retracing the history of Naïve Art worldwide from the 18th century to the present. Works by Rousseau, Bauchant, Bombois, Rimbert, Séraphine, as well as painters from Croatia, Haiti, Brazil...
