ce-que-la-vie-fait-a-la-politique

Description:

"I always felt a kind of misunderstanding when, in my life after my childhood, friends I had dinner with at the restaurant told me they had "no more money" while we were at the restaurant and that they were getting ready to pay for a dinner. Ten years ago, when I heard my mother say "no more money", it meant that there was nothing left in her little leather purse, and that I would have to go knock on the door of one of my aunts who lived a few houses away from our house to give us a packet of pasta and grated cheese. From my class, my origins, my definitions of "no more money", nothing, emptiness, nothingness, radically differed, and politics played a determining role in the place of emptiness. "
