This show is offered as part of World Theater Day.
Created in Vienna in 1961 during the 9th World Congress of the International Theater Institute, this day is celebrated every year on March 27 in around 100 countries.
According to William Shakespeare
By the Collectif Mains d’Œuvre
Lear, freed from power, bequeaths his kingdom. Soon overtaken by deception, lies and fear of madness, he is drawn into a whirlwind which will be his loss. Loss of his kingdom, his beloved daughter and his reason.
Two actors embody this adaptation of King Lear. Committed, jubilant, organic, fragile and funny, King Lear Fragments shows us the human in his nudity, exposed to a world of which he does not understand the meaning.
