La Télé de Moya – Oh la la, quelle histoire !

From 19 May 2021 To 13 November 2021
l'Artistique, Centre d'arts et de Culture
Exhibition of the artist's early research, from 1977 to 1982, using television in his desire to become a creature, a tele-artist who would live in his work.

Television is the medium of the future, the artist who wants to be avant-garde must use it. MOYA's diary, 1976.

Patrick MOYA is the last important artist to represent the new generation of the Ecole de Nice defended by Jean Ferrero. He was the young protégé of the Ferrero Gallery from 1996 to 2003, nicknamed Momo by the gallery owner who kept saying: Momo, the artist you need!

The exhibition presents his early research, carried out from 1977 to 1982 (drawings, paintings and enhanced photographs) in his desire to become a creature, a tele-artist who would live in the small screen; this period is essential for understanding the work of this artist who has not ceased since then to give himself a destiny as a creature who lives in his work.

Guided tour by Patrick MOYA one afternoon per week, by reservation, limited numbers.
