Royan

Théâtre National de Nice SALLE PIERRE BRASSEUR
Nicole Garcia plays a "highly powerful text that can be dangerous to walk through". Valérie Marin La Meslée, Le Point
royan

Description:

One spring afternoon in Royan, a woman is on her way home. She has just arrived from the lycée where she teaches French. She starts to climb the stairs to her flat when she suddenly stops: she has heard a couple on her doorstep. Although they don't speak, she recognises them. Restrained in her movement, she doesn't want to see them. They are the parents of one of her students, Daniela, and have come to ask for an explanation of her terrible fate. Through her memories, this woman tells the story of Daniela as she knew and loved her.
