Marché aux fruits, légumes et marée du Cours Saleya

There are not only flowers on the market in the Cours Saleya. Under its colourful canvas, fruit, vegetables, fish and local craft products are also present on the stalls.
Cours Saleya - 06300 NICE

Opening hours: 06:00-13:30
Weekly closing: Monday all day,
It was in 1861 the market gardeners set up for the first time at the heart of Cours Saleya, which thus became the shopping heart of Nice. Today, this Mediterranean market is one of the most magnificent in France. Favoured by holidaymakers for its famous flower and plant stalls, it is also very popular for the other products on offer.
From Tuesday to Sunday, fruit, vegetables, fish and seafood products delight the people of Nice who come to stock up. Craft workers from the hinterland also come to sell their soaps, their oils and the famous Nice olives. Once the walk is finished, tradition has it that visitors depart with a piece of the traditional socca, a slice of pissaladière, a delicious pan bagnat or another local speciality to enjoy right on the beach which is a few metres away.
